Cut Above!

Close to My Heart has developed some great new products with busy people in mind!  These Cut Above Treat Bag Kits are so easy and simple to assemble - I love them!  Here is what CTMH has to say about this new offering:

Avonlea Kraft Container & Mini Card!!

This month we will be using the Close to My Heart Kraft Container and the retired Avonlea paper to make this beautiful gift box!  We will also make a coordinating 3x3 gift card!  This paper is so pretty and I love the matching brocade assortment!

Altered Canvas Journal!

This month we will be altering this fantastic Canvas Journal!  This is a retired Close to My Heart product that I have been wanting to decorate for some time now!  After months of thinking of just the right embellishments, it is now complete and ready for everyone to make!  It even comes with a matching pen!

Christmas in July!

It's that time of year again!!  This past year has gone by so fast - where has the time gone!  Once again, we have Christmas in July!!  We will be making 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs)!  These adorable items are made will the Close to My Heart paper - Sparkle & Shine!  I just love how the sparkles coordinate with the stamps!  This will be a great start for your Holiday giving!

In the past, I have had several people RSVP for workshops and then do not come.  Each of these classes takes a great deal of my time to prepare and I have up-front costs associated with the supplies.  In order to continue offering these classes, I am now going to require payment with RSVP.  I will be accepting PayPal at akrohe@yahoo.com.   

I truly enjoy these classes and love the 'girl time' it allows - we always have so much fun!  I apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. 

I realize that unforeseen events will arise that may prevent someone who has RSVP'd and paid for the workshop to not be available for the class.  I will make every effort to make sure you can complete the project either: getting the supplies to you for completion on your own; re-scheduling a different time that works for each of us; or simply creating the project for you on the original workshop evening!  Thank you for understanding!

5 Cards and Journaling Card Box!

Back by popular demand - CARDS!! 
For the June workshop we will be making 5 cards for all occasions and a My Creations Journaling Card Box to store them in!  For the cards, we will be using the Holiday Tags stamp set and you will get to pick the occasions you want!:  Birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah - you get the idea!!

We will be covering the Card Box with the fantastic (though retired :( ) Scholastic paper pack.  I just love how versatile this paper can be!  The card colors coordinate nicely with the colors in the paper pack making this a great gift idea!

Base & Bling Necklace!

For something a little different this month we will be making these beautiful necklaces!
(no matter how many times I tried - this picture would only download in this orientation! - Sorry - I hope you don't hurt your neck looking!!)

You will have your choice of fabric colors: either turquoise or three types of black and white.  You will also get to pick your embellishment colors:  either teal, pink, purple, black, or red.  There are a couple of options for the flowers and the inspirational sayings too! 
With all of these options you are sure to create a one-of-a-kind peice!!

April = Easter!

 

As many of you may know - I have been planning to do a basket for this month's project.  This basket idea has gone back and forth...I created one then changed my mind...then I created another...still not sure!...I have seen a lot of activity on Pop-up cards the last few months and have wanted to try to make one....Sooo - we will be doing both!  An Easter Basket and an Easter Pop-up Card!  I hope you like them!  I had a lot of fun making them (thanks to the help from some very talented women at www.splitcoaststampers.com!)

Beverage Holder!
