All Occasions Cards!!

Let's get prepared for the holidays over the next few months!  This month we will be making 6 cards: St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and 2 Birthday!
For this workshop I cleaned out my paper stash!  All of these are retired Close To My Heart paper packs that you may have seen in the past!  I love going back and revisiting older styles - I love them all!!

Valentine Gnomes!!

Gnomes! Gnomes! Gnomes!  These little guys were everywhere over the Christmas holidays!  I resisted the urge to make them then but when I saw a Valentine's version my resolve disappeared!

This month we will be continuing the Valentine theme and will be making Valentine Gnomes!  These little guys are so much fun to make. You will get to pick your hat - the second photo are the options available.

Fabric Heart Canvas & Fortune Cookies!

Love is in the Air!  I know we just finished with the holiday season but Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  I admit - I don't do much decorating for Valentines' - but when I saw this idea on Pinterest I just had to make one!

This month are will be making a decorative fabric flower heart canvas and 3 Valentine's fortune cookies!  These fabric flowers are so much fun to make.  (We made these in 2014 for our Base & Bling necklaces - HERE!) 
The fortunate cookies are so cute and so easy!  and the 'fortunes' can be whatever you choose!

"JOY" Chipboard Monogram

Close To My Heart created a project using the Chipboard Monograms.  Their project spelled out "HOME".  As soon as I saw the idea I knew exactly how I was going to put my own spin on it!  The letters are 12" tall!! This will be a sweet addition to your holiday decor!!

This month we will be making a Christmas Wall Hanging that says "JOY".  We will be using the 'Tis the Season paper pack (same pack as our Christmas in July cards!!), A Holiday Stamp Set (also the same! - are you sensing a theme?!), and lots of BLING!!

Halloween Memory Showcase

A few years ago, Close To My Heart came out with the Memory Showcase.  This is an accordion style mini scrapbook.  I have had several of these in my stash waiting for just the right project idea.  With the help of Joyce O - I think I finally got it!!

This month we will be making a Halloween display using the Memory Showcase and various retired Halloween products from Close To My Heart.  I just love how this came together!!

Love Blossoms Card Workshop!

Summer Banner!

Flower Pot!

March - Bestie Cards & Containers

March! - what better time to acknowledge your 'Bestie' for all that she/he does for you...from a shoulder to cry on during difficult times; a confidante to share your deepest, darkest secrets; a savior who will bail you out of jail...the list goes on!!

This month we are making two cards and decorating two pint containers (only one shown in pic!).  The cards will show your bestie how much you care and the containers are perfect to hold a small gift.

Live Beautifully Flip Calendar

It is the start of a new year - which can mean a fresh start to doing things you love!  I have missed these workshops so much and I am so grateful to be back!

With a new year comes the need for a new calendar!  I have been hoarding this paper pack (Live Beautifully) just waiting for the perfect project - and here is it is!

Birthday Cake Boxes!!

I'm not sure about you but I have a lot of friends with birthdays in March!  This month we will be making these adorable birthday cake boxes!  They are large enough to fit some candy or small trinket as well as a gift card!  How Cute!!  These boxes were made using various retired Close To My Heart paper and embellishments.

Welcome Home Wreath!

It is only February and the weather feels like May!  This is putting me in the mood for spring - planting new flowers, weeding beds, yard clean-up, etc.  I think that the project this month fits with the weather!

We will be making the Welcome Home Wreath from the January National Papercrafting Month promotion from Close To My Heart.  This wreath is so pretty assembled!  The kit comes with all of the succulent petals ready to be punched out, a heavy chipboard base, and lots of gold letters to customize the banner.

Cards of Appreciation!

January is here!  New Year - New Possibilities!!
This month we will be making twelve mini cards!  The intent for these cards is to keep them on hand to give out to those people we encounter who need a little appreciation for what they do!  Whether it's the woman working the drive-thru for your morning coffee...the man behind the counter of the dry-cleaners...the cashier at the grocery store...your postal carrier...you get the idea!  Let's put smiles on more faces in 2017!

These mini cards are 3x3 and include envelopes.  We will be making 4 each of 3 designs.  The photo does not capture these cuties in their full glory - we will be using gold and black embossing powders for the sentiments to make these babies shine!

Christmas Gift Tags and Mini Box

The holiday season is here!!  Help dress up your gifts with these adorable tags.  We will be making 5 gifts tags and a coordinating box.  Embellish the cute 2 1/2" kraft box and use it to store your gift tags or use it to wrap a small gift.  Each gift tag has a red bead and a jingle that really jingles!  This project idea was originally created by Lisa Stenz, Close to My Heart Director.

Buzz & Bumble Box and Matching Card

What!?  It's almost October?!  Where has this year gone!  Before we know it - it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas!  Oi! so much to do...not enough time to get it all done!!

In preparation for Thanksgiving - this month we will be making the most perfect Thank You gift!  I have been coveting the Buzz and Bumble paper pack since it came out (a couple of years ago!!) and have been waiting for just the right project.
My inspiration came from a trip to Walgreens.  While perusing the clearance section as I normally do, I stumbled across these super cute beehive shaped 100% beeswax lip balms!  Love them!!
What better way to present these little gems then in a box covered in BEES!!  A coordinating card finishes the gift!
